Stop. Look. Motivate.
I’ve always been the type of person who frets whenever everybody gets something… and I don’t. It’s far from bitterness, consider it more of idiosyncrasy. Say for example, when most of the people I know get promoted or be able to follow their dreams into becoming something, I, on the other hand, is just watching everything happen. That’s where it all begins. They get more than what they deserve because when luck and hardwork collide, goals and aspirations happen. Unfortunately for me, luck has always been a little too aloof, leaving me hardwork as my only choice.
Yet again, I live by, “Good things will come to you, in your own time, you just have to make the most of what you have right now.” (I quoted that myself! hahahaha). Maybe right now, I have to start from the bottom and make my way to the top? Maybe right now, I have to be given this experience to prepare myself on bigger things? Maybe right now, maybe right now’s not my time. The good thing about it is that, those are just assumptions. Meaning if I’m fine with those, then I really am just some swooshkoosh who settles for mediocrity.
There will always be a thin line between being contented with what you have and aiming for something better to happen. Things will take its toll in their own way, in their own time. There’s no harm in hoping and continuously working hard to get there. :) because achieving things is sweeter that way. :)
Im leaving it all to Him. :)
